Training Opportunities Energy Poverty PIRE in Southern Africa (EPPSA)
A wide range of training opportunities are available.
Over the life of the grant (2018 – 2022) we will recruit 2 postdoctoral researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Recruitment will begin in October 2017 for a 2-3 year postdoc position.
4-year EPPSA graduate opportunities for prospective students to North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
1-year EPPSA Dissertation Completion Fellowships available at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Undergraduate opportunities are available to students from: North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T), North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Winston Salem State University. Opportunities include:
- Summer research fellowships in Southern Africa
- North Carolina based summer internships at the Carolina Population Center and with the NCSU RISE Program
